# View Session Reports

Reports are available after a saved test has been rerun. Open the saved test in its project, select **Reports**, and choose the relevant **Re-run:** report.

## Review Session History

Use **Session History** to find previous AI sessions and open their evidence. The page provides:

* Status filters: **All**, **Running**, **Completed**, and **Failed**.
* Platform filters: **All platforms**, **Web**, and **Mobile**.
* A **Search sessions** field.
* A session table with Session, Status, Duration, Device, App, Created, and Created By columns.
* An **Open** action for each session.
* A **New AI Session** action.

Select a session from the history list to open its run details, evidence, and available report actions. Sessions can include completed, failed, cancelled, or other final outcomes depending on the run.

## Inspect a Run Detail Page

From **Session History**, select a run to open its run detail page. This is the final screen for the history flow. The run detail page shows the run name, objective summary, final status, and **Download PDF** action. Its metadata can include:

* Created date and creator
* Device and platform
* App
* Total timing
* Device actions timing
* Evidence and artifacts timing

The detail page separates **Meta** and **Artifacts**, and provides report tabs for **Messages**, **Playback**, **Video**, **Appium Logs**, **Device Logs**, and **Network**. The Messages view lists recorded actions with their direction or target and a verification status indicator.

## Review Report Details

The **Summary** tab can include:

* Completion status and timestamp
* Device and app information
* Overall replay result
* Token counts
* Step-level statuses
* Available report actions, including rerun actions where supported

## Review Report Artifacts

Depending on the session and platform, the report may provide:

* **Playback** — visual replay map with Transitions, Interactions, Show All, Reset, zoom, and fit-view controls.
* **Artifacts** — pre-action and post-action screenshots, preview overlays, type-action screenshots, and PDF report.
* **Video** — session video; it may initially display **Preparing...** while loading.
* **Appium Logs** — Appium server output files and log previews.
* **Device Logs** — Logcat files and file sizes.
* **Network** — TCP dump logs in TXT format.

Some files or previews may initially display **Preparing...** or **Loading preview\...** while they are being prepared.

The following examples show the report tabs and the type of evidence available for a mobile run:

## Create a Jira Ticket from a Report

After a Jira integration has been added to the project, a ticket can be raised from the report:

1. Open the report for the relevant run.
2. Select the three-dot **More options** button beside the run status.
3. Select **Create JIRA Ticket**.
4. In the ticket form, select the Jira configuration, reporter, Jira project, and issue type.
5. Review or edit the prefilled summary and description. The description includes the replay result and step-level statuses.
6. Select **Create JIRA Ticket** to submit the ticket.

The ticket form may prefill the Summary with the run name and the Description with the report outcome, including passed, failed, and VLM-rescued steps. After the ticket is created, a success toast confirms the creation and provides a link to open the new Jira ticket.

After submission, the dialog confirms that the ticket was created and provides the ticket key and links to copy or open it in Jira.

> The report’s three-dot menu is the entry point for **Create JIRA Ticket**. The screenshots below show the form and its success state.

The **Artifacts** tab contains the captured evidence associated with the run.

## Download a PDF Report for a Completed Run

PDF reports are available for runs that have reached a final status, such as **Completed**, **Failed**, **Cancelled**, or **Timed out**.

1. Open **History** from Device Farm.
2. Select the run you want to review.
3. In the run detail view, select the PDF report button, such as **Download PDF** or **Open PDF**.

The report opens in a new browser tab. While it is being generated, the tab can show **Preparing PDF report**, a progress indicator, **Generating**, and a message asking you to keep the tab open. When generation finishes, the PDF report is displayed in that tab. It includes the run outcome, summary, run context, runtime timing, and recorded step timeline. The report status matches the run status, including cancelled or failed runs.
