# Getting Started

Welcome to Device Farm! This section will guide you through the initial steps to start using the platform for manual and automated testing on real devices.

## Navigating the Dashboard

Once you've created an account and logged in, you can navigate into the Device Farm dashboard by selecting the `Device farm` service. The project dashboard provides an overview of all your projects.

Familiarize yourself with the following sections:

* **Projects:** Organize your testing efforts by creating projects for different applications or versions
* **Devices:** Explore the available devices for testing and see their availability.
* **Sessions:** Review the history of completed tests and access detailed reports.

## Accessing Real Devices

1. **Select a Project:** Choose the project you want to test by clicking on the `Sessions` button on the highlighted project.

> **IMPORTANT:** Make sure that the `Mobile Devices` tab is highlighted for the `Mobile Sessions` button to be visible.

2. **Choose a Device:** Click on `Mobile Sessions` button inside the selected project to select a Device based on your testing requirements and the device's availability.
3. **Start Testing:** Enter a `Session Name` and Click on the `Start Session` to start a new test session.
4. **End Testing:** Click on the `Disconnect` button once testing is complete to end the session.

## Accessing Real Browsers

1. **Select a Project:** Choose the project you want to test by clicking on the `Sessions` button on the highlighted project and then clicking on `Browser Sessions` button within the selected project(Make sure that the `Web Browsers` tab is highlighted for the `Browser Sessions` button to be visible ).

> **IMPORTANT:** Make sure that the `Web Browsers` tab is highlighted for the `Browser Sessions` button to be visible.

2. **Choose a Browser:** Click on `Browser Sessions` button inside the selected project to select a Browser based on your testing requirements and the Browser's availability.
3. **Start Testing:** Enter a `Session Name` and Click on the `Start Session` to start a new test session.
4. **End Testing:** Click on the `Disconnect` button once testing is complete to end the session.

Device Farm provides support for a wide range of devices and browser versions to ensure comprehensive testing of your applications. Here is the list of supported devices and browser versions:
