Test Lab Reports

Users have the capability to execute Test Scripts and Test Suites in the Test Lab and subsequently access the results within the Reports section located under the Analyze category.

It is important to note that there are two distinct methods for users to review these reports.

  1. Upon entering the project, navigate to the Analyze category, then look for the Test Lab section. Inside the Test Lab section, you will encounter a clickable Reports button, allowing users to view the reports for Test Scripts.

  2. Alternatively, upon entering the project, focus your attention toward the top upper-left corner of the screen and click on the icon resembling a Hamburger menu. Under the header labeled Reports, you will find an option titled Test Lab Reports which users can select to view the reports of Test Scripts.

Upon clicking the Reports button in the Analyze Category or Clicking the Test Lab Report button from Hamburger menu, users will be navigated to the Test Lab Reports Page.

On Test Lab Reports Page, users have the option to view the results of Normal Runs and Scheduled Runs.

Under Test Lab Reports, users have the options for:

Test Lab Dashboard

Users have the capability to ascertain the comprehensive count of Total executed Test Scripts within the Test Lab, including a breakdown that delineates the number of Test Scripts that have been successfully Passed and those that have encountered Failure.

  • Users can also access details on the Total Number of Suites and Total Number of Scripts that exist within the Test Lab.

  • In the top upper-right corner of the screen, the Total Number of Active Runs Count is displayed.

Users are also provided with detailed information concerning the count of Daily Test Executions in graphical representation.

Test Lab Details

Within the Test Lab details, users have the capability to access execution reports for the Test Suites, encompassing detailed information about the contained Test Scripts. Additionally, users can retrieve the overall Pass Percentage for the executed Test Scripts, providing a holistic view of the test script success rate, which contains:

  1. Test Suite/Test Script Name - Name of the executed Test Suite/Test Script.

  2. Total Executions - The number of times the Test Script has been executed.

  3. Total Pass - Total number of Test Scripts that have passed.

  4. Total Fail - Total number of Test Scripts that have failed.

  5. Last 5 Executions - Results of the last 5 Executions.

  6. Pass % - Overall Pass % of the Test Suite.

  • In the top right side, information about the number of total Active Runs is displayed.

  • By clicking on the arrow button located at the end of the test suite, users can retrieve the precise count of all Test scripts contained within that particular Suite.

  • By clicking on the arrow button located at the end of the Test Script, the user can get detailed information on the executed Test Script, including Executed On, Execution Time, Platform, and Status.

Executions

Within Executions, users have the capability to access execution reports for Test Scripts and Test Suites, encompassing detailed information about the Test Scripts, which includes:

  1. Test scripts - Test Script Name.

  2. Executed On - The specific date of execution for the Test Script is indicated.

  3. Execution Time - The duration of time required to execute the Test Script.

  4. Platform - Operating System in which the Test Script has been executed is specified.

  5. Status - It provides the status of the individual Test Script.

  • A Search functionality is available for quick access to executed runs.

  • In the top upper-right corner of the screen, the Total Number of Active Runs count is displayed.

  • Users are provided with the option of a Refresh button. Upon selecting this button, users can get to know the accurate status of the run.

Users can access additional options by clicking on the ellipsis icon represented by three dots on the report, which contains:

  • Retry - Upon choosing this button, users can initiate the re-execution of the Test Script and Test Suite's, resulting in the creation of a distinct record for the Test Script.

  • Delete - Upon choosing this button, users can delete the report of the Test Script and Test Suite's.

Detailed Execution Report for Test Scripts and Test Suites:

Upon clicking the right-facing arrow button situated on the side of the Test Script Report, users will be directed to a comprehensive execution details section i.e., Test Report. Here, they can access a granular view of the report, enabling them to review the individual steps within the Test Script, distinguishing those that have passed from those that have failed with the Screenshot of that step.

  • On the top right side of the screen, users are provided with information on the total Test Cases, Total Passed Tests, Total Failed Tests.

  • Get the detailed information in which Test Script is executed:Platform, Environment.

  • Information on Executed Date, Start Time, End Time, and Execution Time of the executed Test Script.

  • Details of individual steps contain: Test Script Name, Step Description, Expected Output, Actual Output, Data, and Status of the Report with Test Case Execution Time.

When we click on Test Suite report, we can view the details of which script executed in the Test Suite with their steps and the time taken to execute each Test Script with their Status and Screenshots.

On this particular page, users are provided with a range of functionalities, including:

  • Email - Allows users to transmit the results of the executed Test script and Test Suite via Email by entering the respective email IDs.

  • Download - Enables users to download the comprehensive report of the Test Script and Test Suite, which will be downloaded as a PDF for analyzing their results.

  • PDF Report - Allows users to have a quick view of the PDF Report, which will be opened in a separate tab by clicking on the respective icons.

Dry Runs

In Dry Runs, users have the capability to access execution reports for Test Scripts and Test Suites, encompassing detailed information about the Test Scripts, which contains

  1. Test scripts - Test Script Name.

  2. Executed On - The specific date of execution for the Test Script is indicated.

  3. Execution Time - The duration of time required to execute the Test Script.

  4. Platform - Operating System in which Test Script has been executed is specified.

  5. Status - It provides the status of the individual Test Script.

  • We have a Search functionality available for the purpose of quick find of a Run executed.

  • On the top upper-right corner of the screen we can see the Total Number of Active Runs count.

  • Users are provided with the option of a Refresh button. Upon selecting this button, users can get to know the accurate status of the run.

Users can access additional options by clicking on the ellipsis icon represented by three dots on the report, which contains

Schedule Execution Reports Overview 🗓️

  • To view scheduled test execution reports, navigate to the Analyze section in your project and click on Test Lab. Within the Test Lab, you'll find the Schedule Runs button. Click it to access detailed reports related to scheduled test executions.

Upon clicking Schedule Runs, you will be redirected to the Schedule Runs Report page.

Here, users can view comprehensive information regarding each test script’s execution, including the Executed Date and the Schedule Type used (e.g., Once, Daily, Weekly, or Hourly).


View Scheduled Execution Details ℹ️

Clicking the i icon opens a detailed popup with key information such as:

  • Who scheduled the test

  • Scheduled date and time

  • Actual execution date and time

  • Execution duration

  • Current status of the test script


Edit a Scheduled Test 📝

Click the Edit icon to modify the schedule for a test script. This popup allows users to:

  • Change the Date, Time, and Timezone

  • Execute the run once again

  • Optionally share results via email


Repeat Scheduling Options 🔁

You can also switch to the Schedule Repeat tab to set up recurring executions.

Weekly Scheduling

Select the desired Days, End Date, Time, and Timezone. You can also opt to share results via email. Once configured, click Save to apply.

Daily & Hourly Scheduling

Click on either the Daily or Hourly tab. Choose the End Date, Time, and Timezone. You can optionally email the execution results. Click Save to confirm the schedule.


Manage Existing Scheduled Runs

Click the ellipsis icon (three vertical dots) on the right-hand side of a schedule entry to:

  • Pause an execution

  • Delete a scheduled test script execution
